Hi, I have a print server that I share printers. Is there a policy for domain or OU's,or other way,to take a copy of files that users send for printers!!??? Thank you
I think this may help, but I might be over complicating things, you be the judge: 1. Download Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit Tools 2. Use the setprinter.exe to set the attribute keepjobs for me, on my vmware setup, it was: setprinter jbvmsrvepson 2 "Attribute=|keepjobs" 3. From what I can tell, this keeps the .SPL and .SHD files in the C:WINDOWSsystem32spoolPRINTERS. 4. From there you can download a .SPL converter (ActMask or equivalent) to make PDF's, txt's, jpeg, etc.
