Hello there!
There are many ways in which you can play your media files, after all the files are created to be played!
If there is no problem in your Windows Media player, you can download his codec pack which will help you to play possibly all of the media files. Download the Codec Pack from this link: http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm
There are five types of Codec Packs, namely:
1. Basic,
2. Standard,
3. Full,
4. Mega,
5. 64-bit (you will only need this if your operating system is 64-bit. Go to Computer>System properties to find this out.)
I recommend , as you are new, to install the standard version.
There are other media players as well. The most useful of these is the VLC Media Player. You can download it from this site:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/vlc/fil ... e/download
If you need any more help we are always available. :)
